Promotion Terms and Conditions

- These promotion terms and conditions (the “Promotion Terms”) apply to the “Argos een fluitje van 26 Cent” promotion (the “Promotion”) organized by VARO Energy Retail B.V. (“Argos”), located at Wilhelminakade 919, 3072 AP Rotterdam. Argos reserves the right to modify the Promotion Terms and Conditions and the prizes at any time in any manner, or to terminate the Promotion early without prior or further notice.
- By participating in the Promotion, the participant (“Participant(s)”) agrees to the Promotion Terms and Conditions.
- The Promotion runs from Thursday, January 1, 2026, through Monday, December 21, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).
- During the Promotion Period, Argos will draw one prize winner (“the Prize Winner”) each month. Each Prize Winner will receive an Argos Fuel Card with a fuel credit of €260.00, including VAT. The total value of the prizes to be won will be (12 x €260.00), or €3,120 (including VAT).
- Participants enter the Promotion by filling up their tanks to the nearest 26 cents at one of the more than 200 Argos gas stations in the Netherlands during the Promotion Period. For example: €10.26, €15.26, or €45.26, etc. A list of all Argos gas stations can be found at www.argos.nl. Participants must submit the unique number on their gas receipt (obtained from a gas purchase transaction during the Promotion Period, accurate to the nearest 26 cents) along with their personal information via the promotion form on the website www.argos.nl/actie/26cent. Participants may enter as many times as they like during the Promotion Period, but each fuel receipt may only be used once during the Promotion. Valid fuel receipts may be activated through Monday, December 21, 2026. Participants must keep the original gas receipt, as they may be asked to present it in case of doubt. Argos reserves the right to exclude Participants from the Promotion if Argos believes that the authenticity of the gas receipt is in question, at Argos’s sole discretion.
- The winner will be notified by email. All prizes will be awarded within two weeks of receiving the email. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the results.
- Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or any other prize.
- Participation in the Promotion is open to anyone 18 years of age or older, excluding all employees and owners of Argos gas stations, all employees of Argos and its affiliated companies, and any other individuals who have directly or indirectly assisted in organizing the Promotion.
- Argos reserves the right at any time to terminate, suspend, or modify the Promotion unilaterally and without prior notice, and/or to amend the Promotion Terms and Conditions and/or the prizes if circumstances so require, without being liable in any way for damages to the Participants.
- Argos reserves the right to disqualify and/or exclude any Participant from participation if the Participant in question acts in any way contrary to these Promotion Terms and Conditions (or if Argos has reason to suspect such conduct).
- Argos uses your information in connection with this Promotion to communicate with you and, if applicable, to inform you about our products and promotions. Participation in this promotion is therefore only possible if you provide your personal information. If you no longer wish to receive our communications, you can unsubscribe at any time. We will delete your information at that time. We will not share your information with third parties. We process your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and within the scope of our legitimate interest in conducting marketing activities. You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. If you have any concerns regarding the way we process your data, you may file a complaint with the data protection authority if you wish.
- By participating in this Promotion, the Prize Winner grants permission for his or her name and any photographs to be used in promotional activities related to this Promotion. At Argos’s request, the Prize Winner will cooperate with Argos’s promotional activities to the extent that this can reasonably be expected of the Prize Winner. No financial compensation will be paid for cooperation with promotional activities.
- Although Argos takes the utmost care in managing its website(s) and organizing the Promotion, it is possible that the information provided and/or displayed may be incomplete or incorrect. Any inaccuracies, spelling errors, or other similar errors on Argos’s website or in other (promotional) materials published by Argos of any kind cannot be held against Argos, nor can they give rise to any obligation on Argos’s part.
- Questions and complaints regarding the Promotion may be submitted in writing to: VARO Energy Retail B.V., marked “Argos Tankstations Promotions,” Wilhelminakade 919, 3072 AP Rotterdam. Argos will contact you in writing or by phone within four weeks of receiving your complaint.
- The 2014 Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance applies to this promotion. Argos operates in accordance with this code of conduct.
- The Promotion and the Promotion Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam.
